However, I noticed that the sprites are blurry. Assuming that you are using Unity, in the sprite options, consider setting the FILTER to point(no filter)
I am actually using ren'py. This is only a prototype so the rooms aren't that big. This is why I zoomed in a little bit too much on the 16-bits sprites, whoops.
I thought so, but prefered getting a working build out to get some feedback before spending too much time implementing variety. Nearly all the bacics to do that are there though.
