"Je comprends ... J'ai perdu la seule personne qui comptait ... Au moins, il me reste les lucioles."

Hi ! I made a new quick game. (It's in french though)

You can download it here !

Hi,

Thanks for the gesture, it is really nice of you. Although I'm not in a place where I can redeem the said key right now, I'll be able to in a couple of days. I'll get back to you then.

Thanks, buddy !

Edit 30/05/2023 : Yeah, that was a poor move on my part. I replaced all of the art with my own. It's all cleared now *thumbsup*

Thank you!

"A strange girl talks to you. She seems suspicious."

Mayan is a short game where a random girl starts talking to you, for the better ... Or worse. Uncover what she wants and what she has to hide without getting- Erm fooled.

Inspiration :

This project is a small one-week-one-shot based on an idea I got while travelling. Bored to death looking at the fleeing landscape, I thought : Hey, what if I was stuck in a time loop ? And got murdered a bunch of times, of course.  So I frankensteined this together, creating a melting-pot of several inspirations. Here is a non exhaustive list :

  • You know how in Madoka Magika, you've got cute magical girls and then BAM! (Spoilers ahead) Murder time loop. Well that's the idea. Plus, It subverses expectations beautifully.
  • Do you know the Yandere sterotype in anime ? Yeah, just like Yuno Gasai in Mirai Nikki. Well that's that.
  • This video is freaking cool.
  • Obviously, this disaster of a game ...
  • Bonus : Do you know what Mayan stands for ? Take a guess ... No ? Well, it's short for "Ma Yandere" or "My Yandere" in english.

Screenshots :

Hi !

So what is this all about ? Well Ghostye - Doomed Fate is a dungeon crawler prototype.

You play as Ghostye, a doomed soul wandering in the purgatory tower. The only exit lies on the top floor but it is jalously kept by two severe gatekeepers : To finally get out ouf this living hell and get back into the human realm, you musn't lose yourself in the many floors of the tower.

Many opportunities ruin yourself will present themselves throughout your journey. So watch your karma, if the latter is too low, the gatekeepers might not let you in.

Feel free to leave a suggestion on how to improve this. I am open to any kind of feedback.

Download there !

Have a great day,

Bigeishe~~

Screeshots :

Hi,

So I tried to run your game but my computer doesn't want to execute it ('Dangerous software' by the pop-up) however that's on my part. Although I must admit it is not very clear to me which file is the game in itself. I'm not used to Unity. I downloaded the second build and I'm guessing it's the "The small game and the big starter.exe" file ? Still that's a shame, it looked pretty cool by the screenshots.

I thought so, but prefered getting a working build out to get some feedback before spending too much time implementing variety. Nearly all the bacics to do that are there though.

I am actually using ren'py. This is only a prototype so the rooms aren't that big. This is why I zoomed in a little bit too much on the 16-bits sprites, whoops.

"A strange being has awaken. Will this mysterious Island contain its bitterness ?"

Thanks for playing !

Actually, the english version is already in the game's code, but unfortunately I still don't know how to "activate" it, so to speak.

I'll see what I can do !

Edit : It's There !

L'Ascenseur (Or "The Elevator") is a short free-to-play visual novel with multiple routes and endings.

Description :

"You're stuck in a elevator. Why ? She knows."

Maybe you should try adding a proper main menu. Like, when I'm far into the game, I don't want to restart the whole thing just by going into it. It may not be easy to implement but it would be sooooooooooooo worth it ! Oh, nice game by the way ! ( ^ v ^ ) !
