There should be a secret backrooms level added that no one knows exists, and the only way to enter it is in one specific out-of-the-way area, kind of like a liminal space inside a liminal space.
Now that would be cool. And who knows, maybe that's being saved for the second part of the game! It does fit the aesthetic of that place more than the poolrooms.
