What a solid game! Not many different features but the ones implemented were just perfect. It's a lesson I keep trying to learn that less is almost always better if it's solid and well polished. Nothing feels "thrown in for content". From the look, to the cozy effects on score and board as you put down the letters it all fit nicely. I also think you deserve a gold star for the fact that you made the font optional, it's a very odd QOL addition to see in a jam-game but for me it made the differens between playing and not playing.

Haha, I don't like to admit it, but I didn't realise that an empty block for a space was actually a thing. As soon as my first word was complete and I got the blank alternative I was like "oooh, you're not supposed to put them in order?" and I looked at the blocks I had and tried to count where that should go. I am very glad that was not the way to play this game. ;)

Even though it was very cool looking and very cozy and polished - I missed some sort of increased difficulty, because it quickly became repetitive, perhaps some sort of decrease of total score the longer you waited before you placed the block or similar would've made a lot of difference here.

Nice work!
