Thanks for the feedback, but yeah, the general design of the game is very flawed. Initially we didn't even know we had to make an incremental/idle game for this jam, heck we didn't even know what an incremental was, and so the monkeys were added in later to qualify for the jam. As for a clear goal/progression, we didn't spend much time thinking about it and we are currently reevaluating people's roles in hopes of doing better next time.
