making music takes time and effort, try free music libraries until you can afford to buy licenses from existing works

yes, of course. i mean. I've been making music for years now and it takes a lot of energy to put yourself into doing. It can be a bit easier to produce sfx than it is to produce musical tracks. but, I simply want to look into collaboration with someone over developing more of the soundtrack... hence why I made a post here, as i've contemplated for the past few months on whether or not it was really something I should do yet. (hopefully this does not come off rude in how i word my reply here or anything)

I don't take offense, I'm not as soft-skinned as most. I believe it's good to be critical and realistic. I suggest working on the gameplay itself with some sample music or something you've thrown together. once you have effectively a demo or an alpha, then I'm sure people would be interested. you have to remember that the internet is full of broken promises and games that never go anywhere - best of luck to you

That's a good idea I think! I did that recently and it helped my mind expand a bit on how I want to do this games soundtrack. Thank you for the wishes of luck!! I think why not wish you the best of them too, whatever that may be!!!
