I may be able to help. Are you looking for full tracks, or just loops to go along with gameplay? I mostly do tech house and psytrance, but can do other EDM genres too. Have a look at my stuff and let me know if it's the sort of thing you'd be interested in.  https://soundcloud.com/jack-darling-385110263

Honestly? I think arranging just a singular song at the moment would be perfect, easy and good way to start out on developing the soundtrack that way too. Its been a couple days and I've come to the conclusion to make the soundtrack a project between various music producers/composers as it seems to very much feel fitting for the overall vibe and aura of the game.

With what I've heard of your music right now, I think the way you compose could be very potentially interesting and fun for a song being made for the soundtrack.

Have you ever found yourself fiddling around with oldschool music sound sample kits just for the fun of it? I think at least some of the music for the game is definitely going to be that sort of stuff (of course, while avoiding to sample things that could get anyone in legal trouble). I'm having a lot of interesting and cool ideas now.

I've done a bit of sampling. There's a limited amount you can legally do without buying licenses though. Personally I think it would be best to follow the overall vibe of the track you're looking to recreate, but avoid sampling it. It would be unique to your game then too. I think we'd need to know more about the game before creating a soundtrack for it. If it's an 80s style game, then we could use old analogue synths to get it sounding authentic.
