The atmosphere is pretty good here. The limited color palette and the sound design / music both work really well here, in my opinion.

One element I especially like is the dash. It isn't instantaneous and exciting, but deliberate and almost desperate. It doesn't have the normal feeling of dashes in video games, where you can dash over and over to speed around a room, and I think that's pretty cool. It really contributes to the overall atmosphere, as well.

I couldn't quite figure out how to get through the plants in the middle of the level. From what I can tell getting around them requires going up to the top of the screen, but then I'm not sure where I should go horizontally. The other obstacles work pretty well though. I especially like the moving blocks, as it provides an interesting challenge to figure out the best way to navigate around them and when to use dashes.

I put shadows at the foot where walls can be traversed, so if you follow the shadows, you're good. But I agree that it's not the clearest thing around.

Otherwise, if it's the "forest" of algae, try the extremities, left or right. Or try see at the base, where there's no algae.
