Wow, 3spoopy5me. I can't deal with this sort of stress. Thankfully the "thing" isn't as creepy as the FNAF type I was expecting. Very cool atmosphere with the anxiousness of having something creep up on you. Well done.

I got 4 batteries before I got got. I think the levels should be smaller or more condensed. I felt like I was wandering around hoping to luck into a battery. When I realized they could be moving, it felt pretty pointless. That may be the point because it's a classic arcade game, but your game isn't a classic arcade game. You can still capture that classic arcade feel without being as dastardly as some of those cabinets are.

Could you share some background on how the thing decides to approach? At first I thought that the light flickers meant that you should look at it to stop it from moving, but it still moved. Then I thought there was a timer between moves based on how long you've not been looking at it, but it still seemed to move with me constantly clicking. I think a bit more clarity in how it moves would make the player feel like they have more strategic decisions to make.

Overall, great entry for a brief jam. Well done! This is a cool thing you've made.

hey man. So the AI was made in like an hour or two because I was running out of time. But how it works is basically the creature will wait 20 seconds before attempting to advance. If you are looking at it, it will wait another five seconds before trying again, until it eventually is able to get to the next pose. In hindsight not the best way to do it. Getting a battery completely resets the AI back to pose 0. Getting hit by a virus immediately makes the AI advance. The light flicker is just to hide the obvious teleporting

Cool! Thanks for the inside look!
