I really enjoyed this. It was fun to discover the endings and with them to see the story unfold.
Hey, you! This was so much fun to watch! 🥰
You truly have a charisma that shines through, and watch you try and figure out what was really happening was great (the editing with the calculations always gets me, XD).
I worried at a point that it'd be too confusing for players, but both of your theories were pretty spot on, and they are actual possible endings to the story. So, phew!
Thank you for playing! Keep up the (actual) great work.
Lou
I think it was just mysterious enough to keep you guessing until you had all the pieces. It was really interesting. My only suggestion, even though it's a fairly short experience, maybe being able to progress the dialog at my own pace would be nice for when you're trying to go back find the other endings instead of having to slog through the same bits over and over. It's a small suggestion but it might just be a me thing lol
Also I was curious if the story that is associated with it, was it something you came up with? It's rare to see like an actual separate story connected to games and it was nice to be able to go back and learn about the story after playing
Hey, Jar. I like that suggestion a lot, thanks!
I've been considering that the game does need some adjustments when it comes to "ease of replayability", per say, and that might just be it. I'll see what I can do for the final build.
And, yes! I came up with the story while developing the game, and wanting to represent different versions of it rather than different perspectives of the same story is likely what made the script so relevant, in the end 🤣.
It's a risk, but well, I can only hope that other puzzled players can give the story a shot as well, and that they'll enjoy seeing the whole thing come together ^^
