So am i tbf, i havn't had feedback from ANYONE who's played through itch, so tell me if it works alright, k?

Itch isnt that great a platform to host your games and solely rely on it. I have nearly 400 plays on one of my games here and the only comment was my own. Posting to reddit or twitter usually does well for it.

What Subreddit would i post to? and how would i format it?

Probably gamedev or indiedev subreddits, theres one for itch but its really inactive and and gets little interaction.

I'd say, don't straight up advertise your game, show a little bit of gameplay of it and talk about your experience, then post in the comment a link to the page for anyone whos interested. Game adverts tend to not do too well on their own.

I'm also working on a post/guide for itch to get better user interaction which would be done in about 2 weeks if thats something youd like to see. I feel it'd be very helpful to newer members who don't really know what to do for "marketing"

That would be great!
