i liked being in a jury of picky eaters, i just think that a better way of knowing what do they want is categorize the dishes in "sweet, salty and bitter", and with that the jury can give you a  clue of what they want, this could makes the player dont feel that he is choosing a random dish :D

I had not thought of having descriptors for meals but it's a good point! I'll think about how I could implement this, design-wise. Thanks!
