Just a followup: in the recent weeks the problem subsided, and though I don't check on the page daily, whenever I do, everything works fine. Should the itch team did something to resolve the problem, thank you for that. Maybe my internet provider got their sh*t together, I don't know. Anyways, just wanted to say this, as I am interested if anybody else experienced the same.
