For the gift part, I do understand your point. I did base Kelsie's reaction on some things on situations that did happen to me (and reactions I got). People can be a bit passive-agressive or conflict-avoiding with things that seem minor while it happens but are actually big for them. Maybe I didnt hint it enough earlier in the story. 🤷♀️
