Congrats on completing the game jam! I liked it! You did a great job of fitting in a tutorial and story in too. The boss had a bit too much health, and the difference in floor tile colors for the spikes kinda negated the need to use the illusion revealing mechanic, but the mechanic itself felt good and fit the theme perfectly. 

I frequently ran into walls unexpectedly and got caught on tiles if I was hugging a wall. I think using a circular collider on your player character and making it sized to his feet might help a lot.
