Definitely not as spooky as I thought it I would end up being.  Though I did get jumpscared a bit by those voice lines. They also tend to blend into the environment quite bit so I definitely missed a few of them as they came chasing after me to kill me.

The general lighting of the build kinda detracted from the atmosphere for me though.  It was a little too lit in the "unlit" areas vs the lit areas.  Plus the fact that the lights were coming from nowhere made it feel less real.  Though the enemies sort of felt like they "belonged" more than I expected, they didn't really stand out from the environment in any clear way when I saw them.

Nothing about them generally speaks that they are some, unknown entity, or something out of this world.  They honestly feel closer to a co-worker just in all black.  Especially their general height and proportions, combined with the lighting not quite highlighting how dark they seem to be planned to be.

Gameplay wise I'd recommend increasing the enemy speed, but maybe adding something for them to lose the player more?  Or some sort of burst of sprinting for the player etc.  That way it feels more intense when they see you and start spouting their creepy voice lines at you to "stay forever".  Also I feel like the sanity meter decreases pretty slowly.  But it's also more so on the fact that iijt seems to regenerate really fast.  Which leads to it basically never mattering how low I got it would always be back to max relatively fast.

Overall though, I am interested to see the fixed version and an attempt to maybe get closer to the title screens atmosphere.  Cause that definitely feels pretty spooky to me, (tho I'm not good with horror stuff).
