The art, ambience, lighting, core gameplay, story and SE's are of top tier, thus making the game one of the most immersive in this Game Jam for me! I lost twice and played until wave 5!

It was a little difficulty to understand how everything worked at first, but once I did, I had genuine fun playing this. I think a tutorial wave visually explaining the mechanics would be really nice. As for the gameplay polishment, I found some issues, though I don't know if some of them are intended or not:

- Combat: Despite of having an attack animation when you click, the player apparently can't deal or receive damage.

- Difficulty: Game starts at a decent difficulty. However, after you build 2~3 towers, all you have to do is sit down and watch the monsters die. That's why I stopped in wave 5, because I assumed that I've beat the game.

- Economy: Magical Cores are expensive and very rare, while also being required in large quantities to build your main constructions. Sometimes the monsters drop lots of them, which is good, but normally they never drop it. I wonder if they have a low drop rate or if they should always drop them. If they are supposed to always drop it, then forget this issue.

- House (Immersion): When the monsters does reach the little girl, nothing happens. I think it would be a good ideia to place some barricades around the house (as a visual), because it's strange to see that the girl doesn't really care about the invasors.

- UI: some texts never disappears from the screen after you interact with them.

- Upgrades: I couldn't upgrade any building.

Don't let this list scare you. Your game feels really complete and has lots of features, that's why my full review is also long!

Overall, I think your game is one of the most potencial in this Game Jam: it's really fun, immersive and replayable and, despite of having a few issues, it deserves a very high rating in every category! Nice job!

This was the most detailed and educational feedback I have ever given! I appreciate your time you spent for my game. I really wanted to make people have fun and go around. I am so happy that you took your time to write a review like this! It worths the entire week I spent on this. And, let me answer some of the issue you've mentioned below.

-Combat: Enemies have 100 HP and player damage is 5. However, since it was a last minute mechanic, i couldn't add anything other than sound to state you have inflicted damage on them. Thanks for this, this provided me to have nice update ideas!

-Difficult: You are right about the difficulty. I didn't have enough testings to optimize the gameplay. The game will change the enemy health over time too. And in the future more enemy types and tower types are going to be there.

-Economy. MagiCores are quite expensive and it has drop chance of 12%. Until you build your second tower players  have a lot of problem to fight off. MagiCore meant to be rare to acquire however upcoming updates will get you a "permenant" upgrade (even when you die you will have the perk) where you double your chances of acquiring them.

-House: This will have other updates too regarding to upgrade. However, its not priority for now but I will note your advices!

-UI: This part is my archenemy. I think UI is one of the hardest thing to pull of to have decent view of everything. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it on time to prepare a good one. I have some ideas but it always bothers me how things feel out of place.

-Upgrades: Woocutters have an upgrade option however the trigger regarind to that has some issues. I should have play tested properly but I updated the gamefiles like 2 mins before the deadline. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

My personal feelings were telling me that i don't deserve much. But your words were so kind and lovely. These moments make me want to create more games and creative worlds!
