Heck yeah! \m/ I loved this idea, and the controls felt pretty good, especially when compared to a lot of other submissions that were side scrollers. You have something there with killing an enemy to have their blood splatter and reveal hidden objects. If you refined it more, you could make a killer game.
There are basic gameplay elements I wish were a little smoother. I did run into glitches (which is par for the course for a game jam), but when those glitches cause me to die instantly and restart the whole thing from scratch, they become a bit troublesome. Checkpoints, a health bar, something to alleviate that would go a long way. I also think it would be wise to better introduce the concepts in a safer environment. I didn't realize I could double jump until after I died trying that impossible job, which was a decent chunk into the level that I didn't want to replay each time. Also, since the main mechanic is blood splatter on invisible objects, put that front and center. I got such a rush of excitement when I saw it that it needs to be your focus.
