I came for the gore and I was well served! Good job on that! The mechanic of block reveal with is a good feature.

Apart from little glitches like the sound stuttering when you die until the scene reloads, there's a good base here to make a good game. I wished I could have gone further. It's pretty hard to play with a trackpad but that's on me :D

Heck yeah! \m/ I loved this idea, and the controls felt pretty good, especially when compared to a lot of other submissions that were side scrollers. You have something there with killing an enemy to have their blood splatter and reveal hidden objects. If you refined it more, you could make a killer game.

There are basic gameplay elements I wish were a little smoother. I did run into glitches (which is par for the course for a game jam), but when those glitches cause me to die instantly and restart the whole thing from scratch, they become a bit troublesome. Checkpoints, a health bar, something to alleviate that would go a long way. I also think it would be wise to better introduce the concepts in a safer environment. I didn't realize I could double jump until after I died trying that impossible job, which was a decent chunk into the level that I didn't want to replay each time. Also, since the main mechanic is blood splatter on invisible objects, put that front and center. I got such a rush of excitement when I saw it that it needs to be your focus.

Loved the blood splatter effect. I enjoyed a lot figuring out that the enemies blood covered the invisible platforms. I didn't finish the game and stopped playing at the 4th run, I wished there was a checkpoint system of some sort or perhaps not dying in one hit.

Pretty cool game!

The game is great! only cons is there was no save point so you have to go back to the beginning.

but over all the game has a bright future!

The game was actually good! The only problem I had was that it was really difficult. Maybe adding more health to the player should fix this.

I love the concept as it actually relates to some real-world issues lol (somehow)

Hey. So, the music is nice, but the game was too hard. I feel like there really should have been checkpoints. Furthermore, the game lagged quite a bit, so it should have been more optimized. I also feel like the enemies should also "drop" a bit of blood when they get shot too.

Hard game, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The ending was cool.
