Many operating systems can make it challenging to run games downloaded from the internet through your browser. The app tries to smooth out all those issues.
A lot of people on Macs have issues because of macOS Gatekeeper. The developer has not created a signed build with Apple so a warning is shown and the app will refuse to run. There is a good chance nothing is wrong with the game, and the operating system is just blocking it.
Although it is possible to disable Gatekeeper, we recommend installing games through our app instead.
