Howdy.
I've bought the game on Steam but I'm commenting here (mostly so that my Steam friends don't judge me). I can say I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with this one. So much so that I ended up collecting every card I'll ever need (enough for three playsets) in a little over 5 hours.
I didn't expect to enjoy this game as much as I have, but as someone who has sunk too much time into MtG/YGO, it really was quite fun. Some strategy was actually necessary, synergies were fun to build, cards were fun to play.
I'm not even sure I've found all the content. Hard to tell.
There's just a few bugs. Inferno Catalysts, for whatever reason, can't be sold. Mandrakes say they're Unique, but you can have up to four of them in a deck. The area outside Fanboy69 lag spikes for a bit on entering (probably something to do with the neon sign).
That aside, honestly, really, quite good. If you're updating this one with more content, that's quite swell. If a sequel in the same card dueling style'll exist sometime in the future, it's already on my wishlist. Cheers.
Also, for those wanting to get in and collect them all:
- You can sell cards you don't need (as long as you have a valid, not necessarily legal, deck). If you want to make selling less of a headache, your decklist should have every possible lewd card, three Mandrakes, and four each of Zap, Totem and Time Capsule. (Find additional Zaps, Totems and Time Capsules by buying from the other Fanboy NPC; the same one you sell to.)
This means that every card you could sell are cards you can find in boosters. Decide for yourself how many you want. Twelve of each non-Unique and three of each Unique is enough for three different decks.
- Winning via the Tickle/Tentacle wincon awards an additional 100 quid. You could also try the casino, but Blackjack isn't my thing. Infinite Spinners are nice but unnecessary.
- There's a kid in the Park who will buy Mandrake cards for 80 quid each. If you jammed three total Mandrake cards into your deck(s), feel free to sell away.
