Wow i played a demo of your game a while ago and i liked it so far but 40 $ is way to much . 20$  would be ok for a finished game and i think you would sell much more of it . Your high price will only lead the most to download it from another side for nothing . Yes it's illegal and i don't say I would do it but it's the raw truth in this world 🤷🏻

Don't get me wrong your game is good but it isn't a masterpiece that would be worth such a high donation. The only thing that your price alerts is that you try to milk your patrons as much as possible. I play games from this genre for a long time and every Dev that did this step was out of patrons as fast as it goes and after they where gone or trying to start a new game on a new account. With the same outcome . Don't make the same mistake my friend because it would be a shame for us and you of course because you are good in what you are doing 😉

Keep up the good work and please think of my critical post a little . Have a good one 🙋🏻‍♂️

Thanks for the compliments!

The price is high because the Patrons can get it for less ($5, $10 or $30, dependent on the version). so the itch store is more expensive. However, as the game description says, become a Patron and you'll enjoy the game for far less than the itch price.

well I didn't know that about Patreon do thank you for the fast reply . Is there a higher tax on itch or why charge so much more here ?

There're some tax issues, yes, but mostly because Patrons have been supporting me and, hopefully, will continue to do so. While those who buy on itch will pay a one time fee. That's why it costs quite a bit more here

well I am not dumb haha but I never thought of it that way . Have a nice weekend 😉

I'll take Itch over Patreon, nothing against you, I just have grown to hate their site more and more. On the note of the price, the fact you give an 8 episode demo makes the price fine by me. It's not like you're asking me to fork over $40 sight unseen.
