Thanks for the feedback. I didn't intend for every failure on checks to result in damage, damage being awarded is more GM's discretion for when the narrative calls for it, but even then, yeah having 5 hitpoints, for lack of a better term, would force a lot more consideration of what's worth risking, which might be interesting now that I'm writing it.

As far as the checks, all of the checks are meant to be these "blind checks." You don't roll for every stat, just the one the GM asks for on the specific check.
