As someone who sees only in gray scale, the idea that the black and white game jam is not black and white is also very confusing (and quite disappointing) to me.
Yeah, I'm definitely giving it a try. So far the theme is giving me trouble. I think that the theme will end up being represented as "repetitive" in terms of gameplay. So I'm going to have to rely on implementing various mechanics to offset that repetitiveness.
Yeah I was struggling to come up with an idea that relates to the theme at first, but I think I've stumbled upon something I'm happy with (whether or not it ends up being fun is a different question). Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
