I think it's really easy to look at this game and say "This is just another amateur game". While it's true that it looks very basic with the art and concept, there are actually a lot of fleshed out interactions here. You have to light all the torches with your lantern, but bugs will kill you, so you must kill them first. But you cannot fire your weapon holding the lantern, so you must place it to the side while you blast away. Also, if you go into the darkness without your lantern, you die immediately to the effects of darkness.


The last level felt way too hard for what it was, because of the constant picking up/putting back down you had to juggle while killing the creeps before the boss. However, all the levels should be proof of trying to make something functional, and it was. I also must commend you on making a level selection screen as well as a VOLUME SLIDER. Volume Sliders are so underrated in Game Jams, so that kind of effort really shows. Great job, keep developing!
