A nice start to a more story driven game. I like the look of the city, and I like being able to drive a car around. But I found the camera was extremely awkward to use and driving the car could cause the camera to freak out to the point it would hurt my eyes to look at (though to be fair I wasn't feeling all that great today to begin with). It seems like when you move your character not only does it rotate with the camera, but the character moving forces the camera to rotate too. Whatever the cause is exactly the camera rotation certainly seems like it needs work.
I think some nice simple Kevin MacLeod background music and some engine revving or humming with the car would be a great addition to provide more atmosphere.
I might also suggest making the city smaller with more content, with only a handful of building models and only one road sign it felt like I was going in circles at one point. Actually, I very well may have but I couldn't tell.
I was able to speak to a few of the characters and its cool that you gave them all distinct personalities, but I was only able to find 3. And when I tried speaking to Colleen I was unable to stop because whenever I selected "Goodbye" it would loop me back into the dialogue but this time with the option to ask about eggs.
Overall, good start, but definitely needs some work on the camera and movement, and as others said some more content will give this game more life. Good job!
