The character feels heavy, although it runs so fast. I think the jump height should be higher.

That was intentional so that the dash would be more useful.

However, the character still jumps too low for me, and you can make the dash longer. I remember there was self, a game on coolmathgames similar to this one, and the dash was big compared to the jump. (https://www.coolmathgames.com/0-self)

We made the jump lower and the dash shorter so we could squish more into each level.

but cant you add a seperate cameras or give the player scroll to?

We started with the player having scroll to, but when it got to the edges of the map, the dashing was messed up as the player moved without the camera.
