First off WOAH this game is addictive. I sat down and played every level straight through and was craving more by the end. I have to echo Zcyon's "The Good Parts," but have a different feeling about the bad...
I feel that this game badly wants to be a speed game. When I first realized that the puzzle area was going down, I was worried there was a time limit! I think a clock would be a great addition. Alternatively, either a limit on moves, or a move counter, would be another effective way of preventing levels being brute forced.
Finally, I have to add that I love the 8bit aesthetic. It's so pleasing, from the CRT scan line, the dedication to controller inputs first, to the cartridge effects on launch. I'd love to see more of this game someday. Maybe a mobile port!
Keep making games!
