Perfect submission! Fun gameplay and mechanics, simple and lovely aestethics - especially the sound and the colors match up really nicely.

Really enjoyed playing - thanks :)

Great game! I've played pipe joining games in the past but adding in new pipe types kept it fresh. Loved how aesthetic the final puzzles looked as well.

Looked and sounded great too. Fantastic stuff!

Woah another 10/10 game. This game is really really good, good gameplay, good graphics, good musics, good colours, its all good. This game remind me alot of a game i used to play on my phone that had ALOT of levels, like 999+ levels (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.balysv.loop).
This game could be like that, you can just add alot of levels, you could even make a level builder. I like games that dont have a lose condition, its just you and the puzzle, take your time. Also it was made on pico 8, i love me some pico8 stuff.

Great game!! Saw your early screenshots on Discord - you delivered perfectly. The controls feel smooth like silk, the visual micro-effects - the sound fx - all crafted to perfection.

One thing worries me, though: Once I complete a level, I can see "real" things in it. One looks like a  duck on wheels, another one like a guy with headphones. Like a Rorschach test - ahhh...  :-D

I Love it

First off WOAH this game is addictive. I sat down and played every level straight through and was craving more by the end. I have to echo Zcyon's "The Good Parts," but have a different feeling about the bad...

I feel that this game badly wants to be a speed game. When I first realized that the puzzle area was going down, I was worried there was a time limit! I think a clock would be a great addition. Alternatively, either a limit on moves, or a move counter, would be another effective way of preventing levels being brute forced.

Finally, I have to add that I love the 8bit aesthetic. It's so pleasing, from the CRT scan line, the dedication to controller inputs first, to the cartridge effects on launch. I'd love to see more of this game someday. Maybe a mobile port!

Keep making games!

THE GOOD PARTS

This game is GOOOOOOOOD. It’s simple to understand, it’s cathartic when you complete the puzzle only to find that there are DRAWINGS when you complete them WHAAAAAT it was great to experience that and I think this is going to have a really nice place in this jam after the voting (possibly top 10).

During my playthrough I was like: “hmmmm… wouldn’t it be great to have more than one level of pipes in a single tile?” ENTER THE SMALL PIPES, the same thing happened when I was completing my first puzzle and was wondering if it wouldn’t be great if these pipes made drawings, and then BAM HERE YOU GO A DRAWING WHEN YOU COMPLETE IT HAHAHAHAHAAH! It was amazing!

The music is on point, it doesn’t distract, feels good to listen for a good amount of time (although by level 29 I was a little bit tired of it but luckily the game is just 32 levels long), the graphic effects like the line and particles that react to your movement are a great addition that adds some visual dynamism to a somewhat static gameplay; I think this was a great decision and overall the aesthetics of the game do the job really well.

I don’t have a lot to criticize about this game. Still, there is one minor nitpick that I have.

THE BAD PARTS

  • Quality over quantity. Yeah, yeah, this game has 32 levels which is something not a lot of jam entries can say but I would have preferred to see less levels where the mechanics of the pipes were explored even further but I understand that there’s only so much you can do in the jam time so we’re all good here. Maybe more meme-y drawings or things that would recall pop culture would have been nice but that’s just me and my nitpick (if you added it and I missed it, I’ll take this back but you seriously missed the chance to draw and Among Us Crewmate hahahahahaha).

CONCLUSION

Why are you still reading this? Didn’t you read that my “BAD PARTS” section for this game was just me being nitpicky? GO PLAY THE GAME! IT’S AMAZING! SERIOUSLY! GOOOOOOOO!

Hi,

this game is awesome! The gameplay is simple, yet so addicting to keep playing. The satisfaction you get from completing all loops is just great! I can see you've put your focus on polishing the game, which makes it really stand out. The music and art are simple too, but fit the gameplay like a glove! Great job with this game, keep up the good work :)

Nice work! I found it quite relaxing and satisfying to play through. I really like the colours you chose, and the game felt really polished altogether.

Really cool & polished game. I like the option to switch palettes and the music provides the right tone for the game. I did notice that you updated the game. I'm not sure if I should rate it for the jam, as my rating would likely factor in the updates. I assume you made these after the jam ended? I might be mistaken though...

Looks really good and quite easy to play but I wonder if there is a way to make it a bit more challenging?

Beautiful in it's simplicity, very well excecuted!

Awesome game. Really satisfying to complete the levels. I also think all the color palette options look great. My only suggestion might be to add a few more complexities or mechanics to the puzzles because after a while they start to feel repetitive.

I couldn't make it more complex because of how the game works :(

I really like the way the game was polished as it's very minimalism, and the game is super fun to play through. I really hope this game can have a full version of it because I think it really have a good potential. Anyway, wish you the best on this jam!!!

Fun puzzle game with really well fitting music. I also liked the scan line and particle effects. They are a small touch that goes a long  way to make the game feel more polished and satisfying

I'm not much of a puzzle guy, but this game really feels good to play, and the difficulty is super well balanced. Bravo!
