Problem it keeps on making my game data get completlly removed

what do you mean by that?
If you use Exe version you should extract files from it, otherwise it may lose save files
some games of rpgmacker have that problem,in my case i had to uncheck the READ ONLY in the folder (right click,propriets,uncheck the read-only) if you want to try sorry for my english
