I really appreciate your feedback. The game needs a lot of tuning to be good. It is okay if it only cracks once before the checkpoint and sometimes it is better to just move quickly than jump over it.
I'd say it's mostly the first few areas that feel too difficult, everything else was nice challenge, but a little on the easy side.
