Yeah, I made a typo in the end which effectively breaks the end-game. The gate expects key-2 but what you pick up is key-3 :/

All real-time dungeon crawlers of yore have cool downs both for melee and spells but what I did different is that combat pauses when you are selecting spell. That's actually not an intended design decision. I just didn't have time to do it differently. I might put that in post-jam.
