I feel like I'm misunderstanding something. I can only use the mouse controls and wasd/space doesn't do anything. I can't move at all, and at best I can get one piece of metal, then time runs out. Are you supposed to unlock movement somehow?
WASD should allow the alien to move around?
I am sorry to hear you were unable to actually play the game - but I am not sure what went wrong when you played it.
