That's odd. Is it only auto-saved games -- manually saved games work fine?
Im not sure, ive never manually saved the game as i dont know how to.
A menu should come up with Save and Load abilities when you hit the escape key. It's disabled while certain activities are underway like the calibration minigame, autocalibration, and a few others, but most of the time it should be accessible.
