Does your "wife" have the Spouse class?

They have the wife class, but not spouse. I checked another save where I actually got married via the church, my wife still had peon, not spouse, but my children were heirs. So it must be because I didn't actually get married. I'll try it a few times both ways and repost any substantial findings.

Ok so yes, my wife has spouse status, had enough time to do more than glance like I did last time. And like I theorized, apparently if you use the cheat system to skip it, instead of going through the actual process of marriage, your children won't have heir status. Now by doing this multiple times in tests, I've also noticed how sometimes the heir's will have either a Slave icon next to their name or a Peon icon. In my tests it has been mostly random which icon they have. To be fair, I've only tested this with the created characters you make in the beginning of your game. While in these tests, usually if the second character is a slave, the child usually inherits the slave icon as well. However, with the peon icon on the second character, it seems to be a toss up. Small suggestion, maybe the husband/wife as well as legitimate children get their own icon? At the end of the day, I understand how trivial all of this is, sorry I find small details to nitpick.
