Because Patreon makes it much easier for me to manage my earnings + people tend to prefer Patreon for pledging + I can't use other platforms to create content against Patreon's rules (and I don't plan to move from there). Do some devs do the latter? It's a gamble because if Patreon finds out they might get banned from their platform.
