ok. There's a portal conundrum that no one can solve because it's literally impossible.

If you put a portal on the floor, and another portal on the ceiling, then got a metal pole exactly as long as the distance between the portals, and then put it in the portals. Now both ends of the pole are facing each other, so if you weld that together and let it go, what happens?

Does the pole fall forever, does it not fall at all, is it just infinite now? What is in between each portal? Does the pole end or start anywhere or is it just forever pole? How does this even work? Would it make the universe collapse because even the universe doesn't know what to do with the infinite pole?

Ok but where ever I go, I would be immune to death and pain until I return home.

I'd go the top of mount everest or the bottom of the mariana trench. Actually Mariana Trench is wayyy cooler since no one has been there.
