Interesting idea.

It was kind of hard to understand the game mechanics at first, but after some trial and error I got that the bottles I was picking up were meant to kill me. An HP bar reflecting that would be a nice feedback to the player.

The detection zone for the items could also be a bit larger. I feel many times I was sure I was on top of the key or one of those bottles but didn't pick it up.

Nice music choice.
