This update breaks everything... my .JSON is 0 bytes now and I can not replace it with my backup .JSON, for some reason the closed DanceXR seems to be either constantly making a new .JSON file and won't let me replace it with my backup file.  Why was this released in such a terrible state? There is already a fix (probably) since this is just the broken version released to Patreon Last Month (May 2022) I can't even see anything in VR (everything is out of focus in Dance XR now, including in the older versions.

The versions released through Patreon should not get a newer version than everywhere else this also leads to this situation where this "problem" doesn't exist for them.... Steam, itch.io, are always behind Patreon versions and can't get Raytracing unless you pay monthly.... I paid upfront and this "quality" has been terrible thus far.

Edit:

Attempts were made to assist me and thusly some of what I pointed out is no longer the case anymore whereas others are still being worked on.

Sorry for the problem but this is the "hotfix" version for the May release. Exactly the same one that Patreon got earlier. There could be issues that we didn't know about. If possible can you send us your log file and your backup cache for further analysis?

For now my suggestion is to use 1.3.0 and your backup cache until we figure out what's wrong.

The 1.3.2 released yesterday on Patreon doesn't have any futher library fix than this "hotfix", so it is likely to fail also in this case. Once we receive your files and confirm the root cause we can put the fix in 1.3.2hotfix and release that early in Itch.io.

Also one thing you can try is to check if you have files in your library that has non-english names, sometimes they can cause issues. If there is, you can try rename them and see if the problem goes away. Let us know the result and either way we'll make changes from our end to ensure that doesn't happen again.

Thank you for your understanding.

Here's how you can locate your log files: https://vrstormlab.com/pages/troubleshooting.html

Send us an email with your files and we'll look into it.  alloystorm@gmail.com

Alternatively let us know how to contact you and we'll send you a Steam key so you can download the 1.3.2 version from Steam and see if that works for you.
