You can play this game with just about any number of players, but its probably best with 2 to 6... The more players you have, the more opportunities they get to manipulate the deck per session, but I think that's ok because it is balanced by the more draws they will need to make in general.

Is this including or excluding a GM? I am new to TTRPG. If it includes a GM then it’s 3 people minimum? Maybe I should’ve asked how many people, not players.
When I browse itch.io, I get frustrated because a lot of game pages don’t even mention the number of players. So I have come to learn that 3 people is the minimum for a lot of TTRPGs. This doesn’t fit my needs right now, I mostly can play solo or 2 player games. But I am categorising 3+ player (including GM already) in my own collections. So in future, I can open it up and browse it again.
Oops! I didn't realize I hadn't replied replied! You make a good point that there's no real indication about how many players this game is for. I sometimes forget about that metric because I have run this game for up to 6 players...
BUT I think you can definitely play this game with a single player and a GM! If you do, let me know how it goes!
