Great work for your first jam! i really liked the sound effects, it suited well, great choices.
My only criticism would be to not allow the player to go off the screen, i ended up going all to the left. and just stayed there, all the sharks disappeared before they touched me and i ended up clearing the level(s) and getting +1000 points for doing nothing.
