Really nicely done, love the style and really easy to understand how it works. Gives me early settlers vibes.
Feedback
- I think the term 'nearby' could be explained better as to whether it means a large space, adjacent, or just one side.
- MORE! Reached 'endgame' pretty quickly, which is understandable for a game jam time limit, but we enjoyed this a lot, and want more buildings, bigger map. This could be a whole town builder. (as mentioned by HorizonShadow).
- Would be great to have a town hall of some kind, ala age of empires, age of mythology. Something that is there to start and can upgrade and gives you more buildings when you do.
