I wasn't sure what to do after getting the knife and fork back. I get to the noose and everything resets, and getting milk got tedious. I tried a few combinations without luck.

That's really good feedback for the final loop. Those are all things we were slightly worried about but didn't have a whole lot of time for play testing. As it works in the current state you have to find 4 items and interact with them in the perfect order to proceed through the last loop. That being said, with some feedback from you and a few others we have re-written the last loop slightly so it works more like a check-list instead of having to complete everything in the perfect and precise order. We should be pushing the new version through either tonight or tomorrow morning so keep an eye out in case you're interested in giving it another shot!
