The cover immediately made me think of that scene from Spirited Away, and I was delighted to find that that's exactly what this game is like. The characters were complex and really sensitively written, and I deeply enjoyed just spending time with them and listening to them. The visuals are gorgeous and handled really nicely--I definitely appreciated details like the custom text frames. Plus the three icons were a tidy solution to how to create branching narrative while still maintaining a silent narrator. I think this is the best character work I've seen in this jam!
(For whatever reason, in WebGL, sound didn't work for me. But I'm sure that's just a platform compatibility problem; WebGL's sound is notoriously difficult.)
