It was a great adventure!
The thing I like the most about this game is the "I did a quest, and I wonder what is next" feeling. I think you've done a good job creating an adventure game in a maze layout to support this feeling. But, I found the relation of the game with the theme weak considering it was only related to character movement. If we were to find out a place in a maze differently in accordance with the theme, I think this game would be such a unique experience.
Apart from these, good job on the visuals and the music. The background track is a great addition to the "wondering" feeling the game creates. I wish the visuals could be more "geometric" as the jam suggests, but still, they were pretty decent to look at.
I suggest you experiment with different movement mechanics to move in a maze other than a traditional top-down character approach. It could be a great brain gymnastic!
