Glad to hear!

Merge Tower feels like an alternative Suika game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! It looks like the majority of the mess in the game resulted from the “physics” engine of the engine you use, which is unfortunate.

I got to over 100,000 scores within a few minutes and even created a ball with a 2048 score on it, which was exciting!

Thank you for the good wishes!

Thank you for trying it and leaving a comment! We are currently continuing to work on the game, hopefully to release it next year.

Thank you for giving the game a go! We currently are continuing to work on the game, and hopefully, we will turn it into a full product someday where your suggestions are included!

Glad you enjoyed it! We continue to work on the game, and will update this page one day with a new build.

I also have created something similar to Gridfill for this jam, and yours felt so great too, and definitely gave me some ideas; well done!

Thank you for playing the game and leaving a motivating comment! Hopefully, this one will become a full game someday.

Such a neat idea! I love how the idea is simple, but the environment itself is a mechanic complex enough to create many interesting levels. Such a great jam entry; well done!

That is really motivating to hear; thank you for taking the time to play the game and leaving a comment; I appreciate it!

What an amazing idea! It is certainly astonishing how you calculated the platformer movement of the character, and designed the levels in relation to that. I have enjoyed the game thoroughly and fell in love with the simple yet effective nature of the graphics. Great work!

Thank you for playing the game and leaving a comment!

Wow, thank you for playing the game and taking the time to leave a comment to suggest new mechanics! Gaining handles by growing into certain spaces currently excites me to try out the mechanic, and it motivates me to get back to the game immediately. Cheers!

Unfortunately, figuring out the geometry stuff was quite hard, so I couldn’t create more mechanics to increase the possibilities of the levels. Each drawing in the game is actually calculated by math and not any sprites except for the “expanders” you drag. Thank you so much for playing the game and leaving a comment! Hopefully, we will work on the game more to turn it into a full product. Cheers!

That is awesome to hear, and thank you for checking it in its current phase; I appreciate it!

Thank you for checking out our prototype; we are so glad to hear your thoughts! The art currently gives me a slime-y-goo-ey vibe. In time, maybe the game will evolve into that.

Thank you for checking out the game and leaving it a comment! Although we had little time, we wanted to see what people think about the main mechanic, indeed; so glad to hear it!

Thank you for checking out the game and leaving a comment! Although we had so little time, we wanted to see how it would be perceived by the community to later maybe create a full game out of it. Hopefully, we will be adding more levels in the future!

Maybe increasing the hurt boxes of the ships for just an additional pixel may solve the issue. I should look into it after the voting period ends. Thank you for playing and leaving a comment; I appreciate it!

In Cannon Defense, the whole game is 2D, except for the cannon, which is rendered off of a 3D scene, so we can correctly give the feeling of rotating a cannon. The music is made by our audio designer, Görkem. He also did all the sound effects. There are even ones that I couldn’t implement as the programmer due to how little time we had, but hopefully, I can get them inside the game after a while.

We are so glad you liked the game, and thank you once again for leaving a comment!

That cannon firing strategy, a reference shot followed by the actual shots, is what we had in mind as well, and I’m glad that you’ve discovered it. Due to its reference, updates would be fun indeed; thank you for playing the game and leaving a comment!

Thank you!

Haha, the smallest ones are the most trouble indeed! I should tweak the waves to fix the pacing of the game. Glad you liked it, and thank you for leaving a comment!

I tried on both Chrome and Firefox, but the problem seems to persist.

It is Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

Thank you a lot for the kind words, and I’m happy that Firefox did not get in the way. Cheers!

Thank you for playing the game and leaving a comment, Achie; I appreciate it!

I look forward to updating this game or making it in a better setting in the future since it is an idea that excites me greatly! I will remember to check your comment once again when the time comes.

Have a good one!

I don’t know what this game was originally called, but I adore it. I have recently played a point-and-click adventure game on Steam, and a certain part of the game had this exact mechanic, but the stones would change their color (between two total colors) when moved. It was a challenging yet great addition, and I adore how you approached this game so that stones are dark first, and they eventually get revealed as you pick them. Such an excellent job!

Wow! It is amazing that you got to create a large adventure game in the jam. The mechanic is entertaining, and I love the theme of the game. The art is just amazing, and the audio track fits beautifully. Excellent job!

It would be nice to be able to enjoy a game like this in true 64x64 canvas. The simplicity of the mechanic creates so much potential to polish, and I would love to see more of it!

Nice Bomberman vibes! It is great to see someone using Defold as well; it is a great engine. I hope it will get more popular with time!
