I see what you're getting at, and fiction and reality aren't in every case the same. But I'd still argue that fiction impacts reality in many ways. Take a look at disney princesses and barbie dolls for example- young girls see them and want to look like them, even be them. On the opposite hand, predators see illustrations of young girls doing inappropriate things, and they use that as inspiration to take advantage of them. A lot of things in anime people actually end up doing in real life, sometimes without even noticing. When you're immersed in that fictional world for so long, you kind of forget what those characters were initially made to represent. You're allowed to have your point of view, but when treading that fine line be aware of what kind of people you may be supporting or encouraging. Like some people making certain loli ""content"" might be actual predators themselves.
