In general, I'd say don't make any changes to the the game on itch.io until after the voting period ends. If it's a bug that seriously affects/prevents playability (or adding you're support for another platform), I'd say go for it. I'd recommend leaving a note on the itch.io page saying what was updated and why. Since the code isn't being judged, you're welcome to make whatever changes to the repository you like :)

We have some bugs in our submission:

- When the player restarts the level, the screen goes black and the game has to be closed

- Sometimes, the jump animation gets stuck and the player cannot continue playing

- This is not a bug, but there is a tutorial message that is quite misleading, and it would be nice to remove it


Taking that into account, can we fix them and upload the updated version to itch.io? Or should we leave it like that until the voting period ends?
