Great game! I like how you connected it with the jam's theme. It's a shame you didn't make a web build, I'm afraid a lot of people will miss out on what would be a really fun experience.
What I liked:
- Animations are simple but very effective.
- Screen shake is always a good addition.
- Sound design is good and fits the overall aesthetic.
Suggestions:
- You could make the UI fit the game theme a bit better. "Rise!" doesn't feel like an option to select, rather than just a flavor text.
- I discovered Parry by accident. Your screen has enough space to fit the controls for players to see.
