Not sure how else to read both of your lines which include "don't care he's 13" as anything but disagreeing with the rule. If you have further discussion with it, feel free to share your actual discussion, since we still haven't seen any valid points yet. We have this rule in place to protect younger children since while the Discord is a moderated space, we can't catch everything. A lot of people also like to join teams of varying ages, which while this can be fine for smaller ranges, can (and has, in fact) turn dangerous. We are just a very large community at this point and made this decision (among many others I might add) with safety at the forefront.
You don't need to distinguish "male or female"--you can just use pronouns for people based on what they have set in their profile, as this also includes people who are neither male nor female (such as myself). If someone uses "she" you can refer to her as "she" or “her”, etc. I have "they" in my profile because that's what I use. Here's an example: "They made a game." Hopefully this helps, especially if you’d like to edit your original post.
